Monti encroaching on acro

Just wanted to get others opinions. I have a monti encroaching on a Walt Disney acro frag. Would you frag the monti back or would you move the acro frag?

Yep I agree here Monti grows way to fast, best to find the WD a new place imo

Definitely move. Agreed with the above youll be fragging weekly. But if you dont all care about the monti in that spot, you could always try to move the monti!

Heated kalk paste along the edge of the monti does it too! Just be careful

The acro will sting back the monti cap, but the monti may eventually spiral upwards and shade the acro. Moving the acro is an option, or just keep fragging the monti cap. For me, it’d depend on what the options are for alternative placement of the acro.

Yeah I thought about removing the frag and placing a small rock where it currently sits and putting the Walt Disney back on that.

Not all acros have a sting. I have a couple in my tank that are touching some montipora digi and both are still growing where they contact.
