I've got frags from a friend and i glue 3 colors monti with each other as in picture , do u thinks they will sting each other or they will be fine

Ive litterally checker grafted about every cap i ever owned and sometimes when i used bigger chunks they wouldnt fuse, only a few times they did , i like it better when 3 different caps grow in and around eachother looks so frikkin awesome

Ive never had one fight either but when they grow please share a progression pick would love to see how this turned out

So what's the key to getting a grafted monti cap vs. them just growing together? Manipulation, chance, etc?

I have over 10 different species of monti in my tank. I have learned that monti cap will be fine with other caps. Montipora spongode will fight but stay at a standstill with forest fire digitata and montipora verrcucosa. Montipora verrucosa will however bleach the skin of monti cap in areas of contact. Just some information that I have witnessed.

Any one can explain why they grow to inner side ?alot of growth but in opposite direction
