Montipora Bleaching or something else?

Just looking for some verification on if my monti is bleaching or not as this is my first SPS coral, so there's no first hand experience. I got a large chunk of red monti cap two weeks ago. It spent a week near the sand bed to get acclimated to lighting and then I moved it into what was supposed to be it's permanent location. The move raised the piece about 7 inches in the inches in the tank. It has been find looking until this morning after being in place for about a week.

The back half that is clearly more red is what it usually looks like and the lighter color is new.

Not sure what you're talking about - if its the 'leading edge' - thats new growth - not bleaching?

Is that under white light or has it paled out so much that your blue lights are making it look purple?

I'm looking at the majority of it that sort of looks purple. The back or top portion that is still red is what the entire piece looked like until a day or so ago.

It is hard to tell from the picture. To me, it looks like new growth and is still going through acclimation.
