montipora palawanensis quick question

Just picked up a montipora palawanensis. Ive had encrusting and plating montis in the past with great success but never tried a palawanensis before.

How fast do these grow? LFS told me they're not as hardy as other montis and they grow slower.

How are your experience with these?

I believe your LFS is probably correct.

Agreed with your LFS.

Slow grower, and not nearly as hardy as say a capricornis is, but not nearly as easy to kill as a digitata either.

My experience is that they are the same as most montis (hardy and fast-growing), although perhaps they color up more when really happy.
