It kills me that people charge so much. I just sold a similar frag for $10. Mine grows well. Why charge so much? I get retailers. But overgrowth should be cheaper. That way we can stop taking wild specimens.

This setosa is quite affordable in cali. They grow fast and look very nice. We have a hard time selling them for $10 a frag here ;-)

Here in Cali I always see setosa's in the $5 and $10 sections depending on the size of the frag.

The market is saturated in ny area for sure now. These days, it's one of the last corals on the table at frag swaps. Basically have to drop it off for free at the LFS rather than toss it.

That being said, I can't imagine not having it in my reef.

Yup, rasta, blue hornet, toad stool..... and a bunch of nice corals that used to cost a lot. We need to train the new comers to this hobby. It is AFFORDABLE if you know how!!!!! :-)

Thanks! A buddy of mine was one of the first ones to buy it from Your Reef back in the day. It's getting a fair amount of flow, I think that's why it is growing spires like that.

Not if you live in a land-locked state. Corals are incredibly expensive here, and any deals from elsewhere are bogged down by high shipping costs.
