So I neglected to turn my power heads on the other night after feeding with reefroids & I have a big Monti going white pretty rapidly night after night. Could this have been from the power heads being off? They were off for about 12 hours.

All parameters are good & all other corals are doing OK.

Any way to best handle this to stop it?

Thanks,

Are the other corals sps as well or is this your only sps? 12 hours is a long time for a monti with no flow, however they make it through shipping which can sometimes be 24 hours or more. Any pictures.

White is spreading from top to bottom. It got a little worse overnight so I just broke off all the white portions...

Could be. I used brightwell alk 8.3 this week. My alk was 7.0 & it is now about 7.8 or 8.0... should it stop?
