Moon lighting

No I am not talking about pole dancing in my off time but I have thought about it. Anyway I wanted to know befits of running moon lights and why blue and not a very low intensity white?

You can run white if you wanted to. Just use white or blue strip lighting off ebay. Its so you can see the tank at night.
