I leave mine on 24 hrs a day but want to put them on a moon-cycle timer eventually.
One thing most people do wrong with moon lighting is it should be indirect and be a glow. Most people use too much and actually cause the corals to fluoresce too much. Corals need time away from the light.

Mine run all night. I am using a pre-set setting for my lighting schedule.
