Hello fellow reefers,
I recently came across this great video discussing flow in a reef tank. There are many good points he brings up but what strikes me in particular is at about the 4:30 mark where he talks about how more flow encourages his Anthias to eat by causing a feeding behavior. This is the first I’ve heard of and wanted to get everyone’s thoughts. It’s wanting to make me try this out on my own tank because I have a Pajama Cardinal who eats frozen but refuses to eat flakes and pellets. TIA

I couldn’t tell you if it’s true or not but… I feed multiple times daily with all my flow on full blast including a 4K gyree and a couple mp40’s because my fish hang out in different parts of the tank and it prevents all the tangs from scaring the little guys etc.. everyone gets fed this way even the corals I’d assume..
