So now that I finally got the fixture (36" Tek 6-bulb 39w), I need a suggestion on bulb selection. This is my first T5 fixture since I've had MH for the past 3 years. Its going on a 40 gallon breeder (36"x18"x16") with some sps and mainly zoas and lps.

Thank you in advance!

I would also like to hear what input you guys have on this.my take is mostly zoa and lps soon to add some sps (maybe).

oh, and remove the shield (I understand it cuts down PAR by 20%?) and add a fan to properly cool the bulbs, you'll be amazed what a difference it makes.

cool thank you for the help everyone. seems like this is a popular line-up the 4 blue+ and 2 aquablue with a slight variation of a fiji purple. hopefully i'll like t5s better than mh but seems like there is an infinite amout of combos with t5s lol.

actually I ran 4 b+ 1 fiji purple and 1 aquablue special and it actually looks really nice. Even more pop and not too blue.
