More than one dwarf angelfish...?

I would try a harem of flamebacks in that nano
I really love that species and would devote a tank just for them .
Honestly, it’s tempting to try at least a pair.
You can see him just in the bottom left of the middle arch.

And his little grumpy face.

I really want to try a flame angelfish with a lemonpeel angelfish in a 6ft 180 gallon tank, but people keep telling me lemonpeels are the devil.
IME, a flame Angel can balance out the aggression of a Lemonpeel. If you were to do a mix I’d add a couple dwarfs at the same time, so a flame and one or two others to disperse aggression from the lemonpeel.

Adult male flame can be quite a bully . Never had a lemon peel though , my male flame goes after tangs . He was after a very small juvenile blue face . But as the blue face has grown so have the tables turned . The blue face doesn’t go after him but the flame definitely stops short . They rule the underworld and the 8in Emperor rules the top open space.

I have 3 dwarf angels in a 4 foot, 60 gallon tank - coral beauty, bicolor, multibar. All are captive bred and were introduced within several months of each other. They have all been getting along fine with each other and their tankmates for a year or more now. A little aggression for the first couple days but that was all.
