I have a dedicated frag/growout system and a seperate display tank system, both controlled by one Apex. Can I run 2 Tridents off the single Apex?

I don't see why you couldn't, people are running multiples of everything else. You would just have to label them differently.

Yes. You can name each Trident to make it clear which is which. You can also use both Tridents to control different DOS units. Since each Trident will have its own unique AquaBus address, you just select the appropriate Trident input as you walk through the Trident Controlled Dosing task wizard.

You’d need to move the tubing back and forth but I don’t see why not. Might need to prime it or run a extra test to get the old water out.

That's what I was thinking of doing. Need to setup my current one to see if there's a way I could automate that. Sorry to derail the thread. Thanks!

Can you run 1 trident on 2 tanks? :)

From what I've read no.
Reason being is that the trident senses fluctuations and will retest if it thinks somethings off.

So if you go from tank to tank it's going to get confused and keep retesting. Unless you don't mind going through a ton of reagent

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
