So I started tearing into this bad boy ready to go back to freshwater. . . When my wife had some job opportunities open up out of state. . . I couldn't justify doing a full teardown and rebuild (for freshwater) if I was going to have to re-tear it down in 6 months. . . So it stays saltwater for now, all be it with far fewer corals. Now that I have way more room I'm going to throw in some Nems and see how it goes. . . (Just in case anyone was worried, I sold or rehomed all the corals and fish I removed)

Picture for comparisons sake:

So got about halfway through downsizing and switching to freshwater and my wife says she might have a job offer out of state. . . I could not justify doing an entire teardown and rebuild (was actually gonna buy a new tank) just to tear THAT down in 6 months. . . So saltwater she will remain I did throw in some new critters to replace the ones I sold and make the tank look less empty. . .

Tank is a wreck and decorated goby keeps clouding it up with his insatiable appetite for sand but hey:
