I was really hoping to be farther along with my builds before posting, but things are moving slower than I thought so I'm just gonna go for it!!!

My initial plans for this room were a bit more grand than my wallet and family could handle so my fish room turned into more of a fish corner. That said, the plan was always for low(ish) tech rimmed tanks, sort of utilitarian but with style haha and I think (and pray) I'm on my way to achieving that!

40 breeder on the left and 20 regular on the right, all hang on or in tank filtration. Both have upsized Seachem Tidal filters (75 and 55 respectively). Both have Aqueon Pro heaters (solid heaters in my experience). The 40 has a Sicce in tank skimmer (that has a real bad habit of blasting microbubbles into the tank but oh well) and a hang on refugium made by my LFS. The 20 will get a skimmer and fuge eventually. Using a simplicity doser and AFR in both tanks. The 40 has two Glowrium Lights and the 20 has an AI Prime 16HD (will be adding an old Kessil when the mount is delivered)

All the corals and critters are from my old builds, though because my plans got scaled back i did have to rehome some stuff to local reefers and my LFS

The move went. . . Well(ish). I had to pack all the livestock into buckets and totes in the back of my car and drive them a few blocks. I had two corals that died but were not looking good before the move, and three or for corals that are looking rough now (three in particular are being exposed to much higher and more laminar flow than in the previous tank so I belive that is the culprit) My car suffered some damage in the move but it all worked out so we won't go there. . . Anyway, many corals are doing well and I am working on dialing in my dosing, dialing in my feeding, and reducing phosphates:

Those are great tanks.
How do you like the Glowrium lighting?
Thank you!
I love the Glowrium Lights! I am using two over the 40 cause I am aiming for REALLY high PAR but just one could light this tank pretty well! They are basically the fluval lights but brighter and woth better color (in my opinion of course haha)

Been a minute but things are OKish. . . Had some issues with my parameters (like alk got up to 13+), few corals didn't make it, others are growing fine. Having some cyano, which t first I attributed to this being a "new" tank, but now I'm thinking I need to do something about it! Also, anyone know what eats hydroids?

Changes up the filtration in the 20 gallon (the 40 is next) and it think im going to like it. . . It does create a very "bulky" and shaded corner, but meh well see:
