It’s a work in progress:

Tanks are still trudging along. . . in spite of my mistakes and hubris. . .

Things are getting more stable though still a balancing act. . . Also, starting to see some UGLIES crop up, some algaes/cyano.

She's still kicking! Trying to dial in my dosing but things are starting turn for the better (knock on wood, fingers crossed, etc.) Got some awesome acros from @Battlecorals and, due to some impulse shopping at the LFS, way to many nems!!! Anyway, I hope I can keep things headed in the right direction!!!

Also, is it just me or does this fluval glass scratch super easy? Or maybe it is the curve that makes it more prone? Found another scratch on the front :angry-face:

The tanks keep chugging along despite my failings. . . Tried keeping and treating ritteri anemones in the 15 gallon (planned to upgrade them to a larger tank) but that failed miserably and the nems died. Also, I think the antibiotic and dead anemone combo shot my nutrients through the roof causing other problems. . . I added some live rock and plan to leave the tank alone for a while.

The 32.5gallon is doing well (fingers crossed) and my recent @Battlecorals shipment seems to be settling in nicely (again fingers crossed).

Also, I got a dwarf lion a while back . . tank is probably too small long term, but LFS promised to take him back if he outgrows my tanks/I don’t upgrade. Also also, I am not sure what he is eating. He would not go for live guppies, he won’t eat off tongs, but he still seems to be doing well. I have seen him hunt and eat pods but I can’t image that is enough? I also see him stalking the top of the tank. . . I think hunting house flies/bugs? I also broadcast feed so he COULD be eating that, though I have not personally witnessed it.

These tanks are getting the better of me. . . despite some losses, many acros continue to grow (fingers crossed). . . I finally set aside some time for a deep cleaning (well clean enough) and took a few pictures:

(vvv this is not a permanent set up, just have to house these clowns and nems together for a few more weeks until fishroom is up and running vvv)

Carpet nem started moving and then got really mad. . . not sure why but I figured being pummeled by a clownfish wasn't helping so I isolated it:

Also, got this "Sabae" anemone thinking it was H. crispa, but, despite looking happy, it would not put its foot down on the rock so now I am wondering if it is not H. Malu (@OrionN ?). . . I gave it a bowl of sand. . .

Yes it can very well be a H. malu. The tentacle count is a little low for H. crispa IMO. If it go for the sand , it’s a Malu.
The system looks good.
