Yeah that is what I thought going into it. The previews really do not do it any justice in my opinion. Also on the plus side Katherine Heigel is HOTTTTTT

I think you're pretty off with that last statement. My young nephews know what Transformers are, as does my 65 year old father. If they do it right Transformers could be a classic action film, the Harry Potter Film will be just another mediocre attempt to satisfy the masses that read the mediocre books. Sorry to come off as harsh, but the adults that read the Potter books yet have never read a Tolkien book and multiple other classic fantasy books make me ill.

Being a huge Tolkein fan I have to disagree with you here. I loved reading the Harry Potter books. The earlier books are more geared toward a younger audience but the books become much darker as the characters age. I would recommend that you read the later books before dismissing them! Mediocre is NOT a word I would use to describe them!

I really want to see Knocked Up. Heard it was a really funny movie plus it comes from the guys who made 40 year old virgin so it should be pretty good just based on that!

But it looks like I am alone with my Spiderman 3 vote. I couldn't pick one. Can't wait for Transformers, just got back from seeing Fantastic 4,(it's still sinking in) Shrek sucked, I just left Ocean 13 in the middle, and I dug Pirates, and already have plans to see Potter.

Yea I voted Pirates and I loved it. Shrek was ok, not the best one IMO. I can't wait to see transformers and Fantastic 4.

I'm excited more about the final book in the Harry Potter series. I have already pre-paid.
I voted for Fantastic Four. I didn't know which to chose. I saw it yesturday and it was great. I liked it. The transformers trailer made it look awesome. I can't for that one either. Die Hard honestly looked like it might be good too. I just love watching movies.
Spiderman 3 was a little disappointing, but it was still good.

yeah transformers is the hit of the summer
harry potter may get bigger numbers since its a bigger phenom around the world than transformers but transformers was just amazing
and they changed too many things and left out a LOT more

One of the only things I didn't like about transformers was they gave Optimus a face. I was kinda mad about Megatrons transformed shape untill I found out that was his original shape on Cybertron. So it has history behind it......
