After countless fry showing up for only a day and my attempts at netting them were impossible….then disappearing …. a baby has seemed to survived beyond demise in my display. He has been around for about 6+ weeks now in the display with 17 other fish

since spotting him: over last 6 weeks, I have been adding oyster feast and pac pods in the tank almost Daily. He seems to be eating frozen mysis as well!

today is the first day the female Banggai mother I believe discovered the baby… it seems to be guarding it now

this is probably rare? Will it eventually get bullied by the parents as it’s larger? Are they protective of their young ever after they are released? There is only the adult pair in the tank. And 15 other fish…

I guess my theory was wrong. She left and is on opposite side of tank again :/
