Ideas on mounting an ATI powermodule please.

Don’t want a canopy. I want to show off the light. But my ceiling is like 20 ft so can’t mount it from the top.

Please help me out with what my options are.

How about the GHL flex bars or mounting bars. You think that will work and be able to hold the weight.

Any elegant way to do this?

Could do painted 80/20. I prefer lights to be mounted to the back of the tank. It provides less visual impact IMO

Thank you both.
Between the two 80/20 I think would be better since it would have higher load capacity. Much higher. Atleast as how I understand it.

Although the cadlights look super clean.

I like the CadLights because of the stainless steel construction, height adjustability and 75lb weight capacity. I intend to get one of these to hang my Sunpower and Reefbrites.

Home depot 1” quare bar, just need tk find someone to weld for you. This design is for peninsula. Easier if tank is against the wall.

Please do me a favor and post some pics here when you do. Or if you can pm me. I would really really appreciate it.

Will do. I’m currently trying to finish up my DIY stand. Then I have to figure out the ordering and delivery since it’s through a trucking company (curbside delivery) as opposed to UPS or FedEx. I will post photos on here when I get it.

You got a build thread for the stand bud?

I don’t, but here are a couple of pictures. It is 2x4 construction with 1/4” plywood skin. I still have to fill and sand. The fully removable door will be a single piece of 3/4” birch plywood attached with French cleats (bottom) and magnets (top). It will be painted white. Once I finish the stand, I’ll get a build thread going.

I bought the CadLights lamptree arms to hang my ATI and Reefbrite. They’re still in the packaging though. The stand is primed and sanded, just gotta put on the finish coat. Also have a cabinet coming in on Friday that I will convert into a controller cabinet for all the electronics. I know it’s taking forever, but I’m totally okay with taking my time! :D

The French cleats are wood and I will pad them with the fuzzy side of some white industrial strength adhesive Velcro, so I think they’ll hold up fine. Here are some pictures with the tank on the stand and the door on before I primed it and installed the back wall.

If you bend 3/4"conduit and paint it black it looks fairly clean, you can get caps for the end of the pipe; here's one over my FW tank holding an ATI 36" no problem.
