Mounting black box light

I recently purchased a Viparspectra 165w and just brainstorming some ideas. I have this one design I’d like to do but don’t know how well it’ll work. Basically 1” square aluminum tubing. Make an L out of it, connect to back of stand and then drill a hole and install an eye hole to hook up the light. How well will this work or would I need two legs?
