I have this rail kit on my 75g rimmed tank and it looks and works very well. There are several parts you will need to get to make it all work. It's really nice because you tuck the power cables inside the rail system and only the pigtails poke out to plug into the lights. One point to make, if you are planning on adding more than 2 lights to it. Don't try to run them all down one side. Split them up and do two on each side. You will save yourself a ton of aggravation trying to run the wires down and keep them hidden. I had to modify one end of the top rail so all four power cables would make the 90 bend down. It will not be an issue if only wiring two cables per vertical rail. The entire rail system once assembled and adjusted sits perfectly on the rim for a 75G or anything with the same size trim. It is heavy enough that it is not easily moved, but you can always use some 3M double stick tape on the side of the tank trim to keep it from being shifted around.
