So I’m trying to lay out my equipment cabinet to see where everything will go. To keep everything neat looking i bought 2” electrical grommets to install so the cords can go thru the false wall shown in the picture. When laying it out i noticed that the mp40 dry side and driver don’t have any way to be disconnected to pass the wire thru the hole I’m going to make. Any suggestions?

You can open the controller apart and the wires have a junction you can disconnect inside. It’s very easy and pretty hard to mess up. 4 screws I think and it pops off

The little white plastic junction box that is kinda covered by the photo bucket logo clips in and out

Bingo. Old thread, but exactly what I needed to know. Thanks! I had the same problem with a 2" grommet cut out searching for a solution. Search feature actually worked this time! =)

Now I have to see how I might wire up a quick-connect type retrofit? I can't see myself taking apart the controller box every time I need to work with the wiring in my Apex cabinet.
