How did you mount your power strip inside your stand? Specifically ADJ power centers or other similar styles designed for mounting in a rack.

Let's see some photos. I need ideas for how to mount mine.

Following along.... I just recently added a sump and need some ideas.... I was looking at the DJ power strips too i think that's my first choice for a power strip.

Samnaz, is the inside pic your sump room? Will it be okay if my wires are going through my sump room in the cabinet or is that a risk?? The area with the strip and controllers will be blocked off (not completely) by a piece of wood.

I don't have a sump. Almost everyone mounts their power strips in their cabinets though. As long as you follow safety procedures such as drip loops and don't place it where water could potentially drip, it should be fine.

Pardon the mess this is a pic from the major issue I was solving at one point but you can see what I have done for my DJ power strip.
I used some L brackets secured into the side of the stand and then used a bolt washer and nuts to secure the DJ Strip to those L Brackets.

Cheap, effective, easily changed if needed.

Nice. I may try this.

On my old tank I had it mounted horizontally the same way. The strip isn't too heavy for the bolts and brackets to hold that way. Just make sure the nuts are tight.

Just another option

I removed the tabs and replaced them with brackets from Home Depot using the same screws in different, pre-existing holes. This was to mount them to the supports under the aquarium. Those brackets can be drilled and bent to fit your specific needs.
