moving apex

I am wanting to move my apex from one tank to another. What, if anything, should I do, look out for, or avoid doing?

Write down what is plugged into Eb8, so you can get same thing on new tank plugged into same outlet. Less programming.
Don't drop head unit or any modules in water. Redo programs for other outlets. Or just reset to factory and start over new.
