Hey folks,

Making the move from a 130L (30ishG) to 300L (80G). I've had the 300L setup for about a week and a half now (life got in the way) with the water (heated), and sand with all the pump on for circulation.

I'll be moving my live rock across in the move, will it still skip cycle?

Thanks,
Sam

I went from about 150L to about 375L and I moved everything over in one day and didn't have a cycle that was noticeable. The way I thought about it was like a huge water change with the perks of having extra water volume to help maintain stability in the beginning. I wasn't adding any new inhabitants or changing any media. The only thing that was really left in the old tank was the sand. Scrubbed the LR really well before placing it in the new tank. Everything went pretty smoothly. Best of luck.

Thanks guys. Don't know why it's so terrifying
