I have an mp10 that shows no signs of power at all. It was previously working but I noticed yesterday that it was off. I have 2 MP10's on my tank so I swapped the power cables and it did not make a difference. Both cables worked on the other mp10 but not this one.
I took the control board out and if I remove the motor from the board, the board will power up just fine. As soon as I plug in the motor, it loses power. I disassembled the motor and the little board attached to the bearing/magnet looked to have some residue on it. I cleaned it up and let it sit over night. After putting everything back together, the problem still persists. I tested each of the wires from the plug end to the magnet side for continuity and everything checked out. I am not sure if I can test the 5 wires going to the housing that cause the magnet to spin. I don't see anything out of the ordinary but I have not taken one apart before.
Anyone seen this before? I am assuming the dryside is gone?
