Hello!

I have an RS Nano G2 Max (17.7" L x 17.7" W x 17.7" H), BB, LPS-only (no fish, etc.). I've been using two Nero 3 pumps, running them at around 30-60% on pulse mode for several years, and they've been solid. However, I'm now looking for more control and better flow. Feels like I need "more" flow too but the pumps get very loud.

I’m trying to decide if it’s worth investing upfront in the MP40, or if the MP10 would be sufficient. There’s a 50/50 chance I’ll upgrade to the Max Nano G2 XXL (35.4" L x 21.7" W x 19.7" H) in a few years, but I’m happy with my current tank for now.

Any recommendations? My initial thought was to run the MP40 at a very slow speed at the bottom, starting with just a single pump.

Thank you!

I think you will be better with Gyre type pump I like the Jebaos crossflow AI is good as well
The MP40 is to strong for that size tank IMO
