My older MP40 is pulsing the propeller speed with some increased noise. Is this likely the wet side or is the driver failing?

If you haven't done so, call Ecotech. Part of the reason those pumps are so expensive is to fund their call center, customer service, and warranty.

How old is ‘older’? When was the last time you replaced the wet side? Where is the noise coming from? I’ve never personally had issues with dry sides but it seems I’m something of the exception in that regard. I get about 5 years out of a wet side.
