I'm wondering as my pumps are out of warrantee if it's possible to order ballbearings for the dry side on my MP40 pumps? I've tried aftermarket bearings but they are not as quiet as the originals.

I called echo tech marine because I was having trouble with my mp 40 ......explained my troble.....in the end they wanted to send me new dry side for 100.00....months before that I had updated my driver to the mp40qd...so they gave me the option to upgrade driver to the qd...for mere 200.00 bucks....hope this helps......I have been using a tune stream 3... much quieter than mp40... and the tune comes with wave maker controller and has a 5 year warranty. .....

Yeah seems I got the same response... I guess I'll try some ceramic bearings. Anyone have any luck out there with specific bearings?

I bought these from Bearings Direct. They work but started making noise maybe a week after install.

S607-ZZ Stainless Steel Miniature Ball Bearing 7x19x6 DDR-1970ZZ - $8.99
698-ZZ Miniature Ball Bearing 8x19x6 Shielded R-1980KK MR698ZZ - $5.80
