Ok my mp40 today started flashing red & orange, if I unplug it and restart it will run anywhere from a few mins to 30+ before returning to flashing. It is quite and isn’t getting hot at all. If I read it correct the red/orange code means bad dry side. Is that right? Is there someway for me to fix it? I bought it second hand so I’m not sure how old it is.

Thoughts ?
Thanks
Rob

I believe red/orange is a wiring problem with the dryside .... usually a consequence of the motor being dropped. There should be a date sticker on the controller; that’ll tell you when it was manufactured. If you haven’t had it very long, may want to have a chat with the prior owner. I stopped buying used vortechs a long time ago. Too many potential hidden problems based on incorrect usage.
