Anyone has got this issue with Vortech wavemakers? I have an MP40 that stopped spinning and when I opened it, the base showed a crack on the plastic coat with rust on the magnet base.

I was thinking that the coat should be better sealed of the metal. Don’t know how much iron and/or other metal got out!

I have 6 MP40s several years old and have not experienced this. I do remember reading about cleaning them in vinegar causing damage and it was recommended to use citric acid instead. I can't remember if the damage being caused was a swollen magnet or not tho.

When I used to run them two of my 4 did that . Never was cleaned with vinegar it’s unfortunately just part of there issues

I will never use these again. Had them in the past and months after 10’s of thousands of dollars in acros were mysteriously wiped out, I found my vortech wet side magnets were rusting.
