I was hoping to use this on my tank but 1" acrylic is a bit much for it. The mp40 is a 2017 model wetside and dry side. However the original driver shorted out and was replaced with an extra mp40w driver. I'm am discounting this to offset the cost for the original QDW which you can pick up for around $75. You'll also need the dryside spacer as I cant seen to locate it (I'll keep looking)
$185 shipped.

I guessed you bought it used. Whoever sold you this and claiming it was/is an MP40QD was lying to you. The dry side you have in the picture is from an mp40ES, not the mp40QD. Also I thought the mp40ES controller was not compatible with the MP40QD dry side.

Yes, I've only ever had 10s on our smaller tanks but I guess I was lied to but none the less I cant use it on my 625 gallon tank. I honestly just know it's working with this driver just fine, just want stay on my tank without support.

Actually just double checked it and you're right, so I'll drop it to $165 shipped
