Hi everyone as the title states Mr. & Mrs. Nemo have laid their 2nd batch this past Saturday... I just hope that my rotifer culture will be ready enough by the time they hatch... Should be on either the 15th or 16th... That will give me 12 days of culture time just not sure if that is long enough time to get a really good strong dense population of rotifers if not I know by the time the 3rd or even 4th batch comes along there should be plenty by then...
They are True Percs..

very nice pair... rotifer cultures usually bloom very fast and should be ready to harvest on 4th day easily... good luck on your venture.

Looks like hatch time this weekend several have their silvery eyes. Going to try the fry collector trap thing and see how it works. Has anyone on here used one before? If so the airflow does it need to be on regular flow or slow it down in the trap?

Well I went and stressed out my fish I put a small tile down were they had laid their first two batches and now the nem has moved away from its spot and no eggs have been laid. How long does it take them to get back to laying eggs?

Now that I have gone and stressed out Mrs. Nemo how long will it take her to get unstressed and start laying her eggs again?
I have 4 buckets now of rotifers going and no babies to feed them to.....

Well finaly on batch #13 LOL... Lucky #13 we have a pretty decent size that hatched out last night which normaly would not have been due to hatch till tonight. But they started getting silver on them on Sunday so I am thinking some might have hatched on Monday night.
Fry hatched on 04-30-13.jpg

I hope this is a good picture kept getting my reflection in the picture
