MSX 200 with purple pinwheel

i have been looking for a skimmer and i came across the MSX 200 i have a 150g with 45g sump and the bio load i want to keep is around medium-heavy.

i read and kinda concerned about the pump having startup problems.

my question is will this skimmer do the job?
