I have to agree wholeheartedly with Rev here! I do for one really hope to see more of Mucho here because he has a wealth of knowledge in this hobby that would greatly benefit many of the members here! We love you Mucho!

My post was not intending to bash CZ at all. I think that no matter what our opinions on the name game, this site in particular has been proliferated by it. Good or bad, what other forum has a dedicated board for getting zoa/paly id's?

The point of my post was simply to say that from my experience, mucho is against the "name game", and because CZ is heavily associated with it to some extent it should not surprise anybody that he does not frequent here.

That's fine, but my post was not solely directed at any one person. I think most of you don't know the real reasons why he want post here. You may think you do, but you don't. Mucho knows, I know, and a few others that have been here for a while. It has nothing to do with the name game. He is against yes, but this is not why he is not here.

rev - you need to chill dude. as a "super" moderator/owner i think telling people to hit the door when they express an opinion in "Discussion/Lounge" forum is some really crappy PR on your part. Especially when you are trying to grow the forum.

I am very easy going, but this was a genuine, kind hearted thread that has been twisted and perverted with nonsense.

Let Mucho make the decission to come or stay where he is. He would be welcomed here. His wisdom is legendary. We all have had conversations with him in the past. If we continue to rant about this subject we will make the decision form him.

I agree Rev - you didn't ask "why" and I got off on a tangent and started a mess. I apologize, my intent was not to start a fight or destroy the thread. As I said earlier - he and I are friends and I would dig seeing him here. I think ALL reefers can benefit from his posts regardless of thier personal interests in the hobby (ie phots, prop, selling, etc).

My only concern was he sees this hobby a bit differently than most and that MAY (not to put words in his mouth) be why we don't see him as often as we'd like.

Hence the reason I asked you...the MODS to patrol the forums. What I mean by that is, start some threads that can stir up some good reef discussion, especially when the top 5 posts are pics or sales ads (not that its bad). Good discussion will bring him back, and that was my point. It wasn't to slander anyone or this forum.

the reason why we created a seperate forum for zoa/paly ID's was to keep it all in one spot, as I and many other reefers were tired of seeing every other post being an "ID question" like what the zoa forum on RC was turning into about this time last year. it was NOT to exploit the zoa hobby, but simply to filter out those type of posts so it wasn't such an eye sore for reefers who dont really care what the ID's are (such as myself). that, and it puts all of the ID questions in an area easy to find, so reefers who are interested can easily find ID'ing pictures if they are looking for it, so they dont have to create a whole new thread asking for an ID.

from day #1 when we created this site, that was my first major request to have a seperate ID forum, and i think it has turned out great. in fact, the RC ID sub forum was obviously copied from our success.

Wow, Coralnutz that was harsh yet again! I have to wonder why you seem to not like Mucho every time his name is mentioned you have something not so nice to say. Have you ever met the man? I have and can honestly say he is a very nice person and very helpful, maybe he didnt help you in the way you wanted but maybe there were reasons for that. I really wish you could sit down and talk face to face with him, I am sure it would change your opinion.

Good morning, I read this thread in totality last night and chose again not to reply; this morning I felt that I should. Knowing that I will be attacked if I don't say something and that I would continually be attack if I did say something, for the sake of putting this thread to rest, I thought it was best to reply now.

This site has a wealth of experienced reefers (and Zoa Keepers), with an equal amount of talented knowledge. That is what makes this site what it is. I have a profound respect for Rev and his intentions with this thread, but just look at the negativity that it is breeding. We have young men and women dying overseas with families here at home, fires out west, flooding in the plains and sweltering heat all over the country last week. Not to mention me remembering my best friend who killed himself one year ago. Lets focus on that and not a small topic such as this. No one wants to be a part of upsetting the balance here. Look at what has happened with just one heartfelt post by one good man with good intentions.

I thank those of you who know me and have spoken on my behalf. I have no malice or ill will against anyone here, and I hope we can all move on to more important topics to help push this hobby in the right direction.

Coralnutz, you don't know me my friend, and we have never met, but if I saw you on the side of the road, if you fell and needed a hand, or if you had a reef related issue, I would be the first to extend my hand sir to help you. I don't know why you dislike me with the vigor that you have. You continue to miss quote me, rehash old threads, watch me and report back and turn my words around. I won't defend myself against your comments because I just want this thread to die. Can we just put this to rest like men with a cyber handshake and move on? I'm extending my hand right now I hope that you accept it. Thanks again Revtree.
