My 32 gallon biocube is 8 weeks old, everything has been pretty smooth. 3 fish, 5 snails, 1 hermit, 5 corals. I have been feeding pellets and mysis. Decided today to try target feeding corals with reef roids. Mixed it with a little tank water and turned off all the flow. The 2 zoas and the green star polyp clearly loved it. The hollywood stunner and the frogspawn excreted a bunch of mucus, but overall seemed ok except for the snot rocket. It kind of stayed attached for awhile, and they may have drawn some of it back in, but some of it clearly broke away. The royal gramma ate some. He seemed to like it. It did not look like sweeper tentacles, but then again I have never seen one in person. I am not overly worried about it but wondered if this was a common reaction. Thanks for your thoughts!
