Multiple wrasses in one acclimation box?

I have a 2.5 gallon acclimation box, and I'm trying to decide if I need to buy another one (or two) or if I can put multiple wrasses in the same one.

I am planning to acclimate:

First group - a yellowtail tamarin wrasse and a blue star leopard (m. bipartitus) wrasse

Second group - 3 flasher wrasses (mccoskeri, filamentosus, and line spot)

Do I need a separate box for each fish, or can I acclimate each of these groupings in one box (one group at a time)?

I would honestly put each one in its own box. The less stress on the little guys the better.

If the flasher wrasse went through qt together they should be fine with some PVC.

The leopard will stress without any sand.

I'm definitely going to put some sand in the acclimation box for both the leopard and the tamarin.

You should be fine with multiples in the same box. With the livestock you already have in your tank I personally would add your first group straight to the tank without the acclimation box as your Carpenter's wrasse shouldnt pay much attention to them at all.

If you wish to use the box on the first group, I wouldn't use such for much longer than a day at most.

All fish are in QT. All are happily swimming around except for one little flasher wrasse (either the mccoskeri or line spot...not too good at telling the difference yet). Hopefully he'll be ok too. I think it's normal for them to hide a bit at first.

I've decided to make a couple more acclimation boxes and just put each in his own box. I figure if the idea is to help reduce stress, then having their own room will probably make them happy. LOL The boxes are easy to make anyway...
