Mushroom Coral Splitting..?

Hey, about 4 weeks ago i purchased a mushroom coral and it seemed to be doing very well. Over the past couple days, it started to split, but now after it was fully done, it seems that the color is distorted somewhat. Is this normal, or is something wrong?

Looks fine to me. Just mushrooms doing mushroom things.
