Recent addition, this rhodactis seems to have filaments that will burst through the surface then later retract. Sometimes there are none showing, sometimes a dozen spots. Is this a mushroom disease of some kind? Additionally my blue discosoma is now doing the same or something similar looking when it shrivels. They also disappear when it opens. It’s been in the tank a couple years at least and it’s the first time I’ve seen this.

Well that’s good if it won’t hurt it, I’ve just never seen it coming through the surface tissue. Seemed more concerning than the normal out the mouth and back in when they’re disturbed.

Thank you KJ
