I looked away for two seconds and half of my mushroom shriveled up and turned blue! What happened??? After vs Before:

Seems normal. May be aclimating to lights. What size tank and what lighting

It's a ten gallon with a SMALL compact florescent made for a two gallon. He's on the opposite side of the tank, so I figured he wasn't getting much light anyways. This morning I turned on the light and he seems happy.

Mushrooms dont need super high light but they do need a good bit. Mone sit at the bottom with the hallide... but watch closley and look into a bogger light imo

Yea I would look into a full tank light before getting more coral. Don't be too alarmed when new soft corals act funny. They are adjusting.
