So I have some mushrooms coming I won from an auction. I always dip my corals in bayer before putting them in my tanks, but just started collecting shrooms. Is it ok to dip shrooms in Bayer?

Don’t. They are hardy, yet sensitive

I've had mixed results dipping in bayer as vette said some can be sensitive about it. Haven't lost any shrooms by dipping in Bayer just set a few back.

Gonzos are one of hardiest shrooms and I dipped mine when I first got them no problem.
Can't speak on lava lamps @MERKEY may know.

Was told 10ml per cup for Bayer however I’ve also had mixed results with it also

lately Ive been using BAYER 5ml per cup 5 mins quick rinse in saltwater (only cause I don’t know what mixing Bayer and dip could do)
then iodine based dip for 10-15 if I see flatworms in the dip I follow with a freshwater dip replace plugs with new ones and Off to Qt for 2 weeks might be over kill but haven’t lost anything this way yet seems pretty effective

I haven't used Bayer yet on shrooms but I have used coral rx in the past and it made them really mad.
