Hello!

We recently got our first coral ever! It is a hammer coral, and so far it's doing great! My question is that any other hammer coral I've seen, the tentacles all look the same, with a hammerhead type shape (duh). However, ours look all cuckoo. Some of them are just straight, and

some branch out into three or four, I dunno what you'd call them. Thingies.

Is this normal? Or have we stumbled upon some sort of mutant? Think it has any cool superpowers?

I've got a branching hammer that looks similar.

It started out looking normal with 3 heads, then I lost 2 heads to BJD.
After trimming those 2 heads away and dipping in Lugols it has grown well, but the tentacles have gone all mutant looking.

Interesting! Maybe this one got dipped before we got it! Thanks for the input
