MXM Module Question

I haven’t been able to find this information anywhere so I’m asking here…I have the Apex jr. it has an optical sensor and a leak detector hooked up to it. As well as the Dos. If i buy the MXM mod; will i need anything else to hook it up without unhooking some other piece of hardware? Is unhooking the opti or leak sensor an option? One other thing- I’ve heard some people complaining about syncing radions or MPs …does anyone know if these same issues are happening with AI equipment? I have 2 Primes and 2 Neros and it sure would be nice to integrate everything into one app! Thanks for reading my post.

I believe all you need is an open Aquabus port to connect it.

You will need an open aquabus port. The sync issue I believe is the non anti sync feature that isn't present at the moment. Lights and pumps are easy to group together with the group function. Works on both AI and Ecotech products. Not sure if you can have both AI and Ecotech in the same group tho.

One more thing…do you know what other equipment i would need to use an old ipad as a dedicated display for Fusion? Thanks again.

I have 2 Primes and 2 Neros and it sure would be nice to integrate everything into one app!

I realize you want to integrate everything but could you not run the primes and neros together in the my Ai app?

That’s what i do and it works fine. I would like to be able to do feed modes, etc. through the fusion app though…but not if it is going to be glitchy.

All you need to do this is a wifi connection and a charging cable. And of course the Fusion app on the iPad

I don't believe its MXM related but as of right now reports from users are coming in that they are no longer able to use iPads since the last fusion update.

Nope. I run on Android and have no issues.
