MXM Owners: would you buy it again?

I’m deeply considering purchasing an MXM but I don’t want to buy something that is still full of bugs. The two people I’ve asked have vastly different opinions so I’ll leave it to R2R!

For reference, I have Radion g4 pros and MP40s. Everything else is apex

IME it's buggy as hell, but it was only with MP40's.

I also have a old WXM, so I ended up downgrading it

Difficult to use. They didn't support sync and anti-sync modes in the beginning and then when they did, I plugged into use it but was problematic. I'm just going to stick with Mobius

ive taken everything off the MXM and back onto Mobius and I think Mobius is trash.....

Love my MXM, yes I would buy it again. I like being able to control my Mp40s based on apex feed modes, or virtual outlets. I like having virtual outlets to instantly set different lighting modes via Alexa (full white for algae hunting, full blue for showing off, etc). I also find the mxm is much more reliable at making all of my lights respond to changes than mobius is. Often I get timeouts on something with mobius. Never happens with the mxm.

MXM doesn't support G4 Radions, only G5/G6. To answer the question, I've never had an issue with the MXM and would buy it again. Using MP10, Radion G5 and Nero.

Still running G4 Pros and non_mobius vortech so happy that my WXM continues to work flawlessly. I have a new in box spare for that time when it decides to stop working flawlessly.

For lights (though I don't think mxm supports g4) mxm is great. I put my g5s and g6s on it because mobius was so awful to work with, I can finally control and synchronize my lights.

For vortechs, it has a ways to go before it becomes worth it. First anti sync and sync were missing. They just added it, but it's super buggy and when one goes offline they all do, making them have to be readded. I'm running them on mobius (and I hate mobius)

In your case I'd wait until the vortech issues are resolved before getting one. I'm sure it'll be great when they're fixed though, I love controlling my lights through the apex.
