New jabo return pump with controller on the way. I won a bubble magus nac9 on ebay for $127!! I finished up the plumbing this morning. Gonna leak test it then move it into the house .Lots left to do but I am excited.
Been a while since I've posted on my build. Got everything moved into the dining room, my Wife is not stoked about that. After setting up new Led lights I decided that the tank I purchased was too scratched for me to use as my display. I am anal like that. So I ordered a new 120 from Amazon. Reef ready made by Aquarium Masters or Aqueon. Purchase price was $520 free shipping. Tank arrived today, I picked it up from the freight terminal at lunch. I have also installed my new rodi unit in the laundry room to create my mixing station. I think the wife is even less excited about that situation as she is with the placement of the tank!! Lol.... I am currently making my first 55 gallons of water. My well water was surprisingly low in TDS at 13 from the tap. I am producing 0 TDS water now. I will be working on my rock structures next. Can't wait to get this thing cycled and ready to accept fish and eventually corals. The pump on the new used bubble magus nac 9 was shot so I purchased a new kit that was supposed to replace the Atman pump but it wasn't a direct swap. I had to modify the base plate to accept the new pump. Thankfully it runs great now and it's silent. I purchased a brand new maxspect gyre 230 from another member here on R2R, should be here on Friday. I will update with pics as I complete the set up.Thanks for the compliments on the stand. I have completed my 40 gallon breeder Sump and canopy. My new skimmer arrived and I didn't realize how big this thing is. It's huge and that's why I purchased the 40 breeder. Gonna sell the Eshopps sump. Finally moved the stand and tank into the dining room. Now it's time to start setting up the Walt Smith reef rock in the tank. Pics to follow.
