2 acans I picked up yesterday for $30 at a new LFS near me. Never had acans before, advice is welcome ;)

Impatiently awaiting FedEx from Chris (skinz78) to arrive today with a green slimer, palys and zoas...

Saturday I'll be heading to the new LFS toting my runaway pulsating xenia. Trading it off for figi live lock ;)

I just bought a new (to me) 180g tank! Needs a little work and I will be building a new stand and canopy along the way before the switch. So I'll be on the DIY threads for a while lol! I'll also be starting a new build thread in the large tanks forum.

I swear since I started kalk in a kalk reactor this tank is looking better. More clear and the corals seem to be liking it too!

My new 180g!

After speaking with Aqeon any real worries I had with this tank are gone except for the usual caution. I'll be plugging the original drilled holes and drilling new better suited ones. Just have to find someone in my area willing to do it at my house.

It's going to be a slow build ss I have a daughter graduating HS next month, other projects around the house to finish and the spring yardwork. So I guess it will be done sometime over the summer.

As it progresses I'll be posting it here

As a way if irradicatin the aptasia, paet of my spring cleaning, I'm making my own LR. When cured and live I will be replacing the badly infected tank lr with the new. I will try to kill them once out of tge dt and eventually add the rock back in.
