So I figured it was about time to post a build tread on this guy.
Just a little back story on it i was ready to expand as I have to much coral in my 75 and a pretty heavy bioload. So I let my excitement get the best of me once the wife agreed to a big tank. So the search began for a 200 + tank. Well as I said the excitement got the best of me I found a guy selling what he claimed was
A 220, stand, and hood. So being overexcited and dumb I allowed my self to get ripped off I got the tank home and after a couple of weeks I started to measure it for parts come to find out it was a 180 and not as in good shape as I wanted (currently for sale pm offer). So ticked off I contacted the guy he swore he would make it right but never did. Well I brushed it off and decided to stick with a 180 tank but started the search for a better one. Found a dual over flow with nearly no scratches on CL. So here we go this is the old tank when I brought it home
So I decided to paint the stand a dark brown
p
And take out the wet dry sump and I picked up a 55 from the same guy I bought the new 180 off of here is me water testing both and doing vinegar baths
After the vinegar bath my brother and Sam came over and helped me get it on the stand
So then all the equipment started to pour in
Skimmer = curve 7
Return pump= jaebo 9000
Circulation pump = maxspect gyre 150
Dosing = jaebo dp4
Lights should be here next week and i ordered 3 reef raidiance dm 165p + sync with a free upgrade to 120 degree optics
