Not a lot of room in the big tank, but I'd like to add this trio once the fish supply gets reestablished. Always open for a few more damsels of course …..

Tigerpyge will be a challenge …. haven't seen a nice one in a while ..... plus cannot imagine what it will sell for these days ....

First two are large angels …. asfur and scribbled. Third is a hybrid dwarf angel (lemonpeel/eibli).

Lost my asfur, and a couple of other fish, in a tank upgrade about 2 1/2 years ago. Never quite got around to replacing.

Are angels species that handle tank upgrades very poorly? :(

Worries about the Genicanthus spp. that I’m getting.

The Scribbled Angel looks amazing. Some listed for sale in China are supposedly “captive bred” but my LFS says they highly doubt it because they told me captive bred specimens have a different patterning.

Does the Scribbled Angel belong to a difficult genus of angels? I’m asking because it belongs to the genus “Chaetodonpolus”, “Chaetodon” in anything makes me scared about its difficulty.

I love Scribbled Angels. Curious - are you planning to get a male one female Scribbled?

Hard to see why that would be the case, so unless your LFS person is a retired fish genetecist, I'd take that with the proverbial grain of salt. Some fish are captive bred and some are captive raised.

Good luck in your search. Personally I'll be happy if I can get ANY new fish in 2020. Living in Canada (rural area at that) there is very little options for shipping. Airport to airport is out since there are no flights. Hoping 2021 there will be some in store purchasing which is my preferred method for buying livestock even if the stores I like are a 7hr drive.

I agonized at purchasing a chevron tang for $389 cnd (my last one was maybe $200) by the time I finally decided to pull the trigger it was sold :(
