So I've been dealing with some water chemistry and really trying to dial in my water and keep it that way. I have a piece of acro (trying again) that looks really good and is off to the best start of the few drags of acro I have tried but I need to keep that water stable.

I installed my ATO so hopefully no issues with salinity will arise.

I installed my ARID Pax Bellum N18 (algae reactor) so hopefully that helps but I'm still getting small traces of phosphate.

My calcium has been high and I don't dose anything and have done 3 water changes in 2 days. I'm gonna leave it for now and see how it does.

Alkalinity seems good, PH was low but came back with water change. Picked up some Eight-Four just in case.

Nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia all are pretty non existent.

Phosphate 0.07 ppm idk what the deal is with the reactor with phosgard and the Pax Bellum shouldn't be there.

Calcium anywhere from 580 600 ppm the last few times I checked.

Alk 125 ppm

PH 8.30

Salinity 1.024

This water chemistry is giving me nightmares.

Any help would be awesome!

All this started bc I wanted to start dosing kalkwasser to help my coralline algae but that isn't happening now.

Thanks

Right now you are fine.

Maintain the alk where it is or a bit higher with any reasonable alk supplement (such as the eight four or just baking soda.

Starting limewtaer (kalkwasser) in an ATO is also fine. Don't add much to start since demand is low. Maybe 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of top off water.
