This is my reef, I'm going to be documenting as I add to this tank and upgrade every once in awhile.
The backstory of this tank is that I downsized my 40B to a 10g to take with me when I moved out. It was to small for what I had in mind so I upgraded to a 20 long and slowly after almost a year now it's become this.
Gear:
- Light: Kessil a160we (Plan on adding a 2 fixture t5 with one bulb being purple plus and another being aqua blue special.)
- Protein Skimmer : Macro Aqua M-50
- Wavemaker #1 : Jebao-SOW-4
- Wavemaker #2 : Jebao-PP4
- Heater #1 : Aqueon Pro-50w - Older version
- Heater #2 : Aqueon Pro-50w - Newer version (worse version)
- Thermostat : Cheapest one I could find
- Water : RO/DI water from LFS
- Salt: Reef Crystals
- Water change frequency - 5g every other week
- Dosing : Eyeball dosing with Red Sea ABC after testing/journaling.
- Test kit: Red Sea test kit, with testing/Journaling parameters throughout the week.
