Unfortunately my other orange clownfish died, but i have finally figured out the problem. They were sucked into the pump. Sad, but now i have it fixed.

Got some turbo snails and decided to try a hawaiian feather duster.

Time for an update. I have been battling cyano, but i think i have finally gotten the upper hand. Attack strategy: 3 giant turbo snails and a stiff bristle brush. The feather duster is dead, though. Kinda inevitable, although it was cool well it lasted. Still working on saving the scape. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Also, i’m filling this valley area with brocken up rocks

Looking at your rockwork, the glass might be very hard to clean with the rock so close to the glass on the sides.

What's your water change schedule look like?

Yesterday i went to a frag swap and got lots of great coral. I got a acan, a orange octospawn (which looks green under my lights), a mohican sun zoa frag which is exciting because ive been looking for those, and an unknown hammer i won in a raffle. I tried a knew acclimation method where you just temp acclimate and dip the corals and then put them right in the tank. They looked a little stressed when i put them in, but after a few minutes they started to open. Today all are oppened and eating (except i’m not sure if the octospawn ate anything). Also what was kinda interesting this morning was when i fed the tank a big pellet fell and the torch caught it. But as it was trying to eat it the pom pom crab came, climbed on the coral, and grabbed the pellet! That dirty crab ought to be framed for panhandling. And my clown should be framed for domestic violence for biting me lately, too. So after that incident i fed the corals and they all ate except the octospawn.

The glass is hard to clean when you have a clown biting you. It doesnt hurt, but it feels really weird. I dont have a big issue with glass cleaning besides that, though. Theres only two places where the rocks toouch the glass, and the one spot is a rock i’m going to take out.
For water changes i do one about every other week.
Sorry i didn t get back to you sooner

I think its time for an update. I have mounted the acan and the octospawn, and i removed one of the rocks. I know, the corals dont look the best right now, and i belive it is because of temp fluctuation. My room gets very hot in the summer, ao i am in the process of trying to set up a diy chiller.

I find the fish to all be photogenic when they’re hungry. I also fed the corals too.

It is time for a very needed update, this one isnt very happy. A month or ao ago i had issues with temperature fluxuations and i lost shrimpy the shrimp and the octospawn. Also i almost lost the hammer, but it is recovering. All the fish are doing good.

There might be some big toys coming soon! My parents are going to pay me to rebuild the roof of our outbuilding, $200, plus I have another job I'm doing for $100. I'm hoping I'll have these done before black Friday, and then maybe I'll get a ai prime, and maybe an mp10. As for the tank, it isn't doing too great. All the fish are fine, and so are the hammer and acan (the acan actually grew a 3rd head) but the zoas are getting swamped by hair and bubble algae. I'd add a picture, but it doesn't look that great, and also nothing has really changed. And also Im not at home right now. But maybe I'll get pics later.

I returned the kessil for the a360, and got a few more corals, and an mp10 powerhead
The new corals are a green pocilapora and a red monticap (with some cool greenish yellow polyps)
